The data is structured in separate tables (in one file), which provide the results of studies of the averaged (based on the results of 5 selections) characteristics of ash samples, performed in the laboratory conditions of the Institute of Thermal and Chemical Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine (in the tables are indicated: K and RVV - boiler and section number). The status of these results for 2023-2024.\nPrevious studies of ash showed that its composition contains unburned carbon in certain size classes (unburned) up to 25%. This indicates the feasibility of its processing in order to extract carbon and the silicate part with the subsequent sale of these products.\nThe purpose of the dataset is to determine the possibilities of using fly ash as both energy and construction raw materials using the example of the Prydniprovska TPP. For this purpose, the following tasks were solved: study of fly ash properties; study of the range of changes in the amount of carbon in the ash under different boilers and sections to determine in the future promising areas of application of fly ash as an additional raw material.\nThe following designations are used in the tables: d, mm - size classes; γ, % - class yield; Аd, % - class ash content; Ca, % - amount of ash of a given class in the initial product; Cc, % - amount of coal of a given class in the initial product.\nThe results of the studies indicate the fundamental possibility of obtaining low-ash coal concentrate from TPP fly ash by fine classification by size of 0.05-0.2 mm with high efficiency for narrow bands of classes of dry bulk materials that are separated.\nThe products of ash processing have finely dispersed fractions, convenient for further use, which eliminates costly operations for preparing raw materials. For example, the obtained carbon is suitable for obtaining hydro-coal fuel, silicates for forming building structures. The efficiency of such a solution is very high, since the return of carbon extracted from ash, with a daily consumption at the TPP of about a thousand tons, allows reducing the amount of coal purchased and the transportation costs for its delivery to the station.","citation:dsDescriptionDate":"2026-07-09"},"grantNumber":{"citation:grantNumberAgency":"National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine"},"citation:producer":{"citation:producerName":"M.S.
